MIGOS, NICKI MINAJ & CARDI B – MOTOR SPORT
Migos does it for the culture. Quavo, Takeoff, and Offset bring together rap’s reigning female MCs, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, for the massive “Motor Sport,” the first single from their highly-anticipated album Culture II.
Over production from Murda Beatz and CuBeatz, the femme fatales deliver some blistering bars. Cardi goes first, shouting out her boo Offset (“I get upset off, I turn Offset on / I told him the other day, man, we should sell that porn”) and declaring herself the “trap Selena.”
Nicki aka “rap’s Jackie Chan” tears up the track with a knockout verse of her own. “I am the champ, I’m Iron Mikin’ about,” boasts the Young Money queen. “My crown won’t fit on your bum-ass lace fronts.”
The song, which Migos previewed at Power 105’s Powerhouse last night, arrives ahead of Culture II, the follow-up to the trio’s platinum album Culture, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
