Kenyan Afro-Pop band, Sauti Sol commissions a banging new tune titled “Melanin.” However, in what is a massive collaboration with Nigerian Dancehall superstar, Patoranking, the group looks to steal the shine on the African continent at the close of the season.


Interestingly, “Melanin” already comes with a music video as directed by the legendary Clarence Petersfor Capital Dreams Pictures.

Any Sauti Sol and Patoranking collaboration was always going to be an explosive affair, the only thing is this latest record just steps things up a notch. As produced by Sauti Sol, the boys simply flossed and flaunted on their musical chemistry.

Patoranking whose real name is Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie is one of the most sought-after artists on the continent with several top-notch collaborations to his credit already. “Melanin” is just a continuation of his form, having recently unleashed the monster record titled “Available.”
